Running a restaurant is tough enough.  Add to that the selection and care of restaurant linens and it may become overwhelming.  You can either choose and maintain your linens "in house", or find a company who specializes in linen maintenance and outsource the job.

Having nice, crisp linens for a restaurant is more for defensive and subtle reasons.  It's more about the avoidance of having bad linen that is worn or frayed.  The customers will remember bad linen, whereas, nice quality crisp linen might not be at the forefront of their mind.  But that's a good thing!  You want your customers enjoying the dining experience, not noticing the flaws in second rate linen!

You need to decide between renting and outright purchasing.  By buying and maintaining your own linen in house, you'll need to consider purchasing commercial grade washers and dryers, as well as the labor costs of washing, folding and putting them away.  By renting, you simply collect all the dirty ones and wait for the next load of clean linens to come in.
 
Since maintaining your own restaurant linens in house is a labor intensive and costly part of business, having it done out of house could just be the best stress reliever you've ever had!
